Founded in 2020
From the founder of DDF:
I have been asked throughout my life why I love baseball, especially as a female. My response is always the same. “I’m sorry, then you don’t know what you are watching.” Sports for Coach and his family is not just a game. It’s life. It’s love. It’s family. It’s discipline in an unruly world. It’s a sense of community when those attachments can sometimes seem so hopeless, turbulent and unpredictable, especially for children. Coach was a huge rock in a lake that created these waves of generational change that influenced thousands of children and teens over his 40 year career. If our work can be a pebble in a puddle and ripple out his work, then, in his honor we will have done our small part.

Get to know a bit more about behind the name.
Coach Duane Davis impacted the lives of many individuals. He was an amazing coach and really believed in each and every player on the team. He brought teams to many victories and received many awards in the process. He poured his heart and soul into coaching, which earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame, and a permanent spot in the hearts of the players he has a coached.
